Vintage Ladies Solar Rolex

. Solar was a brand name of the Eaton's department store. a small percentage of the Solar watches where made by Rolex, but, not all Solar branded watches are Rolex's. Here is one that is. Over my 15 plus years of collecting, reading and now watchmaking, I have had the luck to find a few of these. Some have been wristwatches and some pocket watches and a few 1/4 century models as well. Vintage Ladies Omega ladymatic. This lovely Omega is an automatic with the original Omega crown and is from the 1963. This is a 671 movement with 24 jewels and adjusted to 2 positions ref 561-001. Working nicely and fitted with a new black leather band. Sold

Vintage 1940's Rolex Victory

Well what can I say. This watch is the reason for me getting into watch collecting and becoming a watchmaker. Vintage Rolex's made for the Canadian market. This Rolex Victory is a lovely example of a well loved and worn watch, but what makes it so much more unique in my opinion is the even ware and patina on the case that now matches the dials numbers and hand lume. Now paired up with this brown leather period band to match the dial, wow, a true collectors even patina. Original case marked Rolex on the case back, caliber 59 movement, and more important original Radium dial and hands. Original red centre second hand. A new crown will be installed if requested. $1295 cad.

Vintage Seiko Calculator, circa 1980's, in working condition, model C515-5009 A0. This watch is in great shape, everything working including alarm. Fitted with a generic band that is a little small in the lug size, but matches the watch nicely. New battery installed. Sold

Here is a nice Ladies Omega caliber 244 manual wind from 1954. It has a nice warm patina to the dial and matches great with this colour band attaching to the 10mm lug size. The measures 21.22mm without the crown and 24.4mm with. This watch has the original, crystal, dial, movement, case, crown and Omega buckle. Stainless steel and working great. Sold
